UAPSA spearheads Arkitakits V.1 with ALE passers

Organized by the United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary - PHINMA UPang Chapter, the ARKITAKITS V.1 General Assembly and Architect's Testimonial Rites gathered architecture students on September 14, 2026, at the University Gymnasium, followed by a thesis symposium at the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) Review Room in the afternoon.

Faculty members and Architecture Licensure Examination (ALE) passers attended the event together with Engr. Keno Brian C. Ramirez, MSEM, CEA Assistant Dean, who delivered the opening remarks.

Assembly continued with an inspirational message from Mr. Steven Nash A. Macabenta, President of UAPSA-UPang Chapter, followed by a welcoming message from Ar. Lester V. Garcia, UAP, MSME, Program Head of the Architecture Department.

Garcia also led the PHINMA UPang Architecture Department’s session, which included the transition from College of Arts and Sciences-ARKI to CEA-ARKI.

Meanwhile, Ms. Angel Shenelle C. Daduya, UAPSA Vice President for Operations, presented the organization’s platforms for the academic year 2026–2027.

Testimonial rites highlighted the experience of January and June 2026 ALE passers, offering Architecture students an opportunity to hear from those who had taken the licensure examination, followed by closing remarks of Ar. John Kyle P. Domingo, UAP.

Ar. Maria Alysson Mejia, UAP, RMP, CHSBCS, discussed thesis overview in the afternoon program, while Ar. John Kyle P. Domingo, UAP, shared thesis tips and advice. Both sessions included question-and-answer portions, allowing students to engage with the speakers on their academic concerns.

ARKITAKITS V.1 concluded with the awarding ceremony, and closing remarks from Marxial Kent A. Cabanas, VPPD.

Through ARKITAKITS V.1, UAPSA-UPang brought Architecture students together in a gathering that connected academic preparation, professional experiences, and the shared pursuit of excellence in the field of architecture.
